Hello! My name is Yepeng (pronounced as Yeh-Puhng), and I am a PhD student in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard Medical School, advised by Professor Marinka Zitnik. I hold a B.S. in Biological Science from Nanjing University.
My current research centers on developing AI methods to investigate multi-scale perturbations, from genetic and chemical interventions in cellular systems to whole-brain neuromodulation. These targeted perturbations uncover fundamental principles of cellular organization and functional circuitry across biological scales. Previously, I have worked on systems neuroscience.
